DESCRIPTION

Nestled in the green Venetian plain on a small hill, this imposing historic building overlooks the surrounding hills and offers a stunning view of the ancient countryside and the estate’s vineyards. Its origins date back to the 13th century when it was built as a medieval fortress to defend the territories of Padua, with its massive tower and thick walls that still tell centuries of history and transformations.

Over the centuries the building underwent numerous restorations and expansions, becoming first an agricultural center within a large feudal estate and later a country residence of a local noble family. At the beginning of the 20th century, significant interventions were carried out to preserve the historical atmosphere while adapting the structure to holiday needs, with particular attention to architectural features typical of the period.

Today the historic building is part of a larger complex that also includes a winery, a museum dedicated to rural life and green spaces ideal for relaxing walks. Some rustic areas adjoin the central part of the ancient core, offering authentic glimpses of traditional farm life and a direct connection to local food and wine traditions.

The main accommodation extends over three floors and can comfortably host up to 10 people, making it perfect for long stays, family vacations or groups of friends seeking a unique experience in the nature and history of Veneto.

On the ground floor, there is an ancient vaulted kitchen, now transformed into a welcoming space with a large dining table and direct access to a private terrace equipped for outdoor meals, where guests can enjoy views of the garden and surrounding hills.

Upstairs on the first floor is an intimate and comfortable living area along with tastefully furnished bedrooms that combine traditional elements with modern comforts. On the second floor, additional bedrooms and bathrooms follow, ideal for larger groups.

Outside, guests have access to a shared green area with loungers and relaxation spots, perfect for moments of tranquility immersed in nature. A highly appreciated feature is the organically shaped bathing lake, located a short walk away, where guests can swim or relax on the shore in complete privacy, exclusively for estate visitors.

In addition, those staying here can use the estate’s sports and recreational facilities, including a large outdoor swimming pool located at the nearby golf club and accessible with dedicated rates, as well as wine tasting experiences featuring the estate’s prized vineyard productions.

With its blend of medieval history, cozy interiors, outdoor spaces and modern amenities, this historic residence represents the perfect destination for those seeking a stay that combines period charm and contemporary comfort in the heart of Veneto.
